Cloudyn already had a cloud cost management solution for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Cloudyn needed to provide the same solution to control and monitor Microsoft Azure services.

Solution

Cloudyn’s solution was developed using the Java programming language and platform. CodeValue commissioned a team with expertise in Azure management, as well as the Java platform. A solution in Java was developed using Azure resource monitoring functions to provide access to Azure resources and extract the usage information.

Cloudyn has since been acquired by Microsoft and is now part of the Microsoft Azure offering for cost management
